Tom Goes Solo

Croatian Vacation

Croatia was a little slice of heaven and having spent 15 days traveling from Greece through Bulgaria, Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania and Montenegro. We stayed with two of Thorstens friends in their small villa overlooking the Adriatic about 30km South of the city of Split. Very relaxing.

Anmyeondo Trip

Day 1: We woke early in Bundang, eager and ready to hit the road. After packing and chatting, checking the route, updating emails, and changing Facebook profiles, the morning had disappeared Day 2: The weather was cool and a little drier than the previous day, so we where sure we would make better time. But I heard a burst and my tire deflated quickly. The source of the puncture was half a toothpick Day 3: We cycled into the village and found it to be in wonderful condition – obviously constructed to look like a 500 year old Korean village. Day 4: We decided to take the scenic route and headed off through some stunning mountains with equally stunning hills to climb. I should mention, at this point, how courteous the majority of Korean motorists are
