I’ve had a very productive week, Braking Boundaries site wise that is. Most if not all the design has now been completed. I’ve also finally gotten around to adding images from our previous cycle trips around Korea.
Here are some links to the new albums.
Braking Boundaries Team - Thought I’d chuck together some photos of the team and others who frequently ride with us.
http://www.brakingboundaries.org/photo-albums/photos-south-korea/last-ride-of-2007/ & http://www.brakingboundaries.org/photo-albums/photos-south-korea/boys-bike-trip/ - Both of these weekend trips left from Bundang and headed over to the hills to Yangpyeong before crossing over highway #37 where we stayed in a Tourist Hotel in the middle of nowhere. Round trip was about 160-180km. This was the first and so far only time Shane has dared to adventure out with us.
Cycling Seoraksan - Completed earlier this year, this was another great weekend adventure. Starting at Injae we cycled to the Oseak valley before crossing over Seorak mountain the next day, which is so far the biggest mountain we have cycled (970 meters). About 140km all up.
NOTE: Tom, Dave and myself have since gone back and completed this route in a day with half of that being in the rain.
Chungju Lakes & Beyond - Our first 3 day cycle of 2008 which turned into an epic mission of dirt roads, lost team mates and tired legs took us around the Chungju lakes and surrounding areas.
Finding Danyang - Not satified with the previous weekends attempt to get to Danyang, Katie, Tom and myself decided to take a slightly shorter route which as per usual turned out to be a little harder than expected, again tackling the Korean mountains.
The DMZ Experience - Another 3 day bike trip again over large Korean mountain ranges, this time very close to the North Korean border, over the South Korean Peace Dam and into Chuncheon for some much needed Dalk-Galbi. (닭갈비)
