News has reached me that David has successfully obtained his new recumbent cycle, taking us another turn of ther wheel closer to our trip. This makes me all the more eager for the arrival, in August, of the 3 (rather more conventional) touring bikes that the rest of us will be using. In the meantime, I wish him luck and hope that the transition from his beloved Scott 30 , “Scott-E”, to the new style of travel is a smooth and bruise-free one.
I can’t wait to see what this bike looks like, not to mention watching him ride it for the first couple of times
